Date: September 4th, 2026
The season opens tomorrow, September 5th. We'll have clients arriving Saturday afternoon and start hunting Sunday. We saw a lot of deer driving around last night and got some good pictures. The antler growth looks good and there's always a bunch of bucks we never see this time of year that will show up late September, early October. The weather is nice right now, cool and rain every week which is keeping the fire hazard down and green growth everywhere. The recently cut alfalfa fields will get a good shot of new growth which will be highly attractive to the deer, they'll have plenty to eat!
