The end of the season is here and overall we had a great year. The begginning of the year was tough with all the rain and food supply being one of the best I've ever seen in 18 years. However, most of the hunters had success and I'll post some numbers here below.
We had 16 archery whitetail deer hunters harvest 9 deer, and 10 archery elk hunters harvest 2 elk with 12 bowhunters missed or hit a animal and not recovered.
We had 13 rifle elk hunters kill 9 bulls, and 5 rifle whitetail hunters kill 5 whitetail bucks with 2 rifle hunters either miss or hit a animal and not recovered.
5 Mule Deer hunters harvested 4 buck with 1 hunter passing on smaller bucks.
Again, overall the season was pretty successful but we did go through stretches of tough hunting conditions. There is no snow on the ground here in the valley and we're packing up and headed to Texas tomorrow morning. Thanks again for everyones help and contributions to a safe and successful season!
