The 3rd week of the rifle season has been incredible for success. The weather wasn't much different than last week where we struggled with finding anything moving. The only difference would be the wind was really blwoing last week and this week it wasn't. Most of the hunters tagged out by mid week and the last 2 whitetail tags where filled yesterday morning. We even went after a turkey with the one hunter as he harvested his bull elk on day 1, his mule deer on day 3, and then a turkey on day 5. The hunters got some really nice whitetails. They waited for the bigger ones by passing on bucks early in the week. They where both looking for 10 points and patience paid off for them. A great week and with the weather starting to turn towards Winter this weekend, next week we expect the success to continue.
